The second tower, its center hidden by a vast white cloud and its top hidden in black smoke, collapses downwards onto itself. Its top is falling towards the left of the frame.
A small black building blocks part of the frame.
This picture is difficult to explain.
It is visually as though a smoking and dust covered building of great height has been thrown downwards onto a similiar building. The base of the hurled building has with vast amounts of white dust, and small dashes of yellow, been crushed into the lower building. Not much detail of the upper half is visible as thick clouds of black smoke obscure the view.
In the foreground the Millenium Hotel stands still and serene, apparantly oblivious to the scene of destruction behind it.
Vincent Kressevich writes: The Millenium Hotel survived, but it still not re-opened. It, too, was heavily damaged when the towers fell.
